This is a pic taken with some friends, the one in the center is me (GiGaS), and the two in the upper right corner are Andres Lam and Even Suescum, in that order from left to right.
AS you may have thought it already, this comic is based on real people. In the beginning i thought of making a comic about Andres Lam, Even Suescum, Juan Rodriguez and myself, in which Juan,Lam and I had a rock band called EU. As a band we fought agains the evil dark lord Even!! But it was a silly idea so i discarded it almost imidiately. Atthe time I decided to work on other personal projects such as "Revolution Chapters:" a comic i started along time ago, which story, if you ever read it, would seem like I was high on drugs while writting it. As time passed Lam insisted me to draw "chibii-manga," which is simply deformed manga, usually shown on shoujo style. So I did. I made a 3-page chibii-manga about Lam, Even, and I. I didn't include Juan into the comic, because at teh time he spent so much time his his girlfriend (all day long literally), that i though he wouldn't mind. At teh time I decided to work on the "Shadows" Manga for Kazahana, but I felt it wasn't comming out as I wanted it to. SOme time after that I began to draw a 48-page story called "X-a.k.a Last Chance" (I will publish it later on in this page), which is basically a story where evil wins becuase of mistrust. Finally i came across a webcomic called "MEGATOKYO." I found it to be quite funny and interesting, and I started to think: "what about i make my own online comic?" And so I did, Originally it was going to have Even, Lam, and Me, but i decided to expand the cast so it was more varied.

At first I thought of making "Log In," the story of my senior year at teh school, it being the most problematic of all. But i finally decided to make it like a comic strip telling funny stories that had happened to me and my friends, but as it seems like my memory is faailing, as well as that of my freinds, I'll eventually start inventing the stories. The comic in set on year 2005 (futuristic, uh?), On my current school "American School of Guayaquil." As you might think this is a typical latin-american american-school (oxymoron?). We do use the uniform, however it is an ugly one. We do have a close relationship with teachers (either we hate them or love them). And we all hate the principal, whose name i will not write to avoid law-suits (hehehe). All this will be intruduced into the story as the story develops.
"Who is behind this comic?" is question that you don't care about, but i'll answer it anyway.
The Answer is "Me." I, Andres Baquerizo, am the Writter, Illustrator (Pencils as well as Inking), of the whole project. Andres has another rolein the crew: "the guy that thinks he knows what is funny but actually, he doesn't." Lam usually writes the sapnish version of the comics, but i'm not going to bother on posting them.

In this pic are the guys in the comic. Drom left to right: Juan, Even, GiGaS, Lam. We're pretty good friends from quite some time ago. We basically hate each other but the HAte we for each other keeps us very close together, haha!!
Here's Kitty and me. We're not what you might call "good friends," but we work it out. Someone who do not know us may think we're brother and sister.
